The Sleep Medicine Board Review (SMBR) was first offered in 2001 and has, since that time, had more than 1000 individuals use the service. The program is based on an exam approach to learning (i.e., "the best way to study for exams is to take exams"). The exam content is based on the field's leading text The Principles and Practice of Sleep Medicine (Kryger, Roth, and Dement - 3rd and 4th editions) and provides a comprehensive overview of all of sleep medicine. Currently, we are working on the 3rd revision of the site's content. Because this task is incomplete, we are offering the service as a means for preparing for the current ABMS' Sleep Medicine Exams at a reduced cost. The Sleep Medicine Exam is offered as a subspecialty exam by 6 member boards of the ABMS. Links for each are below.
